How to Add/Edit a Rental Listing

How to Add a Rental Listing 

  1. Go to the “My Listings” tab.
  2. Click the “Add a New Listing” button on the right side of your screen.
  3. On the next page, begin adding information for your listing. All required fields are marked with an asterisk.
  4. As you move through each tab, click the “Save & Continue” button at the bottom of the page before moving on to the next tab. 
  5. Once you reach the last tab, “Leads & Notes,” click the “Publish” button.
  6. If at any point you leave the add/edit page, your listing will be saved as a “draft” and can be edited later. 

Important Note: 

For Portland, ME Listings

You must use a paper application when adding listings in Portland, Maine. To add a paper listing as an option to your listing, follow these steps:

  1. Log into the Rental Beast broker portal.
  2. Click the “My Listings” tab.
  3. Find the desired listing and click the "Edit" button.
  4. Navigate to the "Application" tab.
  5. Select the checkbox for "Paper Application."
  6. Click "Save and Continue" at the bottom of the page.

Doing this will ensure that the appropriate application method is used for listings in Portland, Maine.

How to Edit a Listing 

  1. Go to the “My Listings” tab. 
  2. Click on the row of the listing you would like to edit. 
  3. Click the “View/Edit” button.
  4. Click on the desired tab that you would like to update.
  5. After editing, click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.

Once Active: 

For Pro Subscribers: After publishing your listing, it will become active and searchable by other Rental Beast users. Any syndication enabled will become active. For third-party syndication websites, the listing may take up to 48 hours to appear on their website. Any leads generated on your listing will go back to you and you only. You will receive an email notification with the lead's information and property address. The lead's information will also be added to your “Client's tab.
