How to Search for Rented MLS Member Listings

What is the purpose?

The purpose of this article is to guide users on how to search the Rental Beast database for rented MLS© member listings. 

Why is this important?

Rental comparables (comps) are useful when predicting what the ideal rent should be by comparing the rent from previously rented but similar listings. Comparing properties with similar features and in location will arm you with the best data to accurately price your rental or provide advice to a client who may need guidance. 

Filter Rented MLS Member Listings

  1. Go to the “Search” tab. 
  2. Add in any search filters. 
  3. To find only rented listings, click inside the “Status” field and deselect “Active” and “Application Pending”.
  4. Next select “Rented” then click “Search”.
  5. Any “rented” listings with the specific search filters will appear in the search results.
