How to Initiate an Application for Your Rental Listing

The process of initiating an application for your listing.

Initiating an Application

  1. Log in to your Rental Beast account.
  2. Click on “My Account” and select “My Applications” in the drop-down menu. 
  3. You will see a list of any previously started applications.
  4. Click “Initiate an Application.”
  5. Input the contact information of the person reviewing the application and tenant screening reports. If you are the owner or a true proxy for the owner, that will be you! If not, you can enter the owner’s information. You will still receive real-time alerts as the application process is completed. 
  6. Input the property address the applicant is applying for. 
  7. Input the applicant(s) contact information. If a guarantor is needed on the application, add them as an applicant. 
  8. Once all the information has been entered, click “Submit Application.”
  9. The applicant(s) will receive an email with an invitation to begin their application.

Reviewing the Application and Tenant Screening Reports

  1. You will be notified via email when an applicant's tenant screening reports are ready for review.
  2. Log in to your Rental Beast account.
  3. Click “Free Applications” or “Applications.”
  4. You will see a list of any previously started applications. Find the application you are looking for and click “view application.” 
  5. You will be redirected to their rental application and tenant screening reports.
